Job summary

Denver Health is seeking a Lead Facilities Technician to supervise work crews across inpatient medical buildings. You will assist in hiring, developing, evaluating, and guiding subordinates while ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient production pacing.

This role emphasizes coordinating repairs with multiple trades, maintaining documentation, and promoting excellent customer service to patients and staff.

Qualifications

• No High School Diploma or GED required.
• Three years of hospital engineering experience required.
• Colorado Driver's License Class R required.

Responsibilities

• Plans and coordinates installation, maintenance, repair, and upkeep in the inpatient medical buildings.
• Rounds with department heads to build confidence and teamwork within Engineering.
• Assists in maintenance and repair in a variety of skilled trades.
• Coordinates with other trades to schedule work as a team.
• Partners with Vendors on repair & projects in the Inpatient buildings to provide an optimal finished product.
• Maintains regulatory and compliance records and reports.
• Identifies training and staff development needs of employees and ensures information is available for decision-making.
• Actively identifies problems and opportunities for improvement and reports to Supervisor for approvals.
