Job summary

Fusion HCR is seeking a Clinical Manager - Care (Case) Management in Las Vegas to lead care management in a hospital setting, coordinating patient care across the continuum while supporting clinical and financial outcomes.

The role requires nursing leadership, supervisory experience, and expertise in care management principles, with a focus on utilization review, care transitions, and staff oversight.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Minimum five years of clinical nursing experience, including at least two years in supervision or management.
• Current Nevada RN license to practice.
• BLS certification accepted by the American Heart Association.
• Knowledge of care management principles, nursing processes and patient safety.
• Ability to interpret regulations and analyze medical charts against acute care criteria.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with diverse groups.
• CCM/ACM certification or membership is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain a system for managing patient outcomes.
• Coordinate care across the continuum with financial and reimbursement considerations.
• Oversee assigned staff and apply supervisory practices.
• Promote patient care planning and coordination per nursing processes and rights.
• Interpret rules and policies related to third-party reimbursement and nursing practice.
• Maintain effective relationships with patients and colleagues under stress.
• Guide case management activities related to eligibility, authorizations, admissions, reviews, denials, and appeals.
• Utilize computer systems and software for care management.

RN license (Nevada)

BLS Certification (AHA)

Nursing degree (accredited)

CCM/ACM credential (preferred)
