Job summary

University Hospital seeks a Senior Hospital Applications Analyst to lead design, development, and support of enterprise reporting across clinical, operational, and financial data. You will partner with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable data solutions and provide training on self-service analytics.

Applicants should have SQL, data warehousing, and Epic reporting experience, with a bachelor’s degree and Epic certification within 6 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; health-related fields preferred.
• Three years of information systems experience; hospital setting preferred.
• Must complete Epic certification within 6 months of training.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, relational databases, and data warehousing.
• Experience with Epic reporting tools; ability to work across data platforms.
• Analytical, problem-solving skills; able to work independently and with teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to translate reporting needs into technical solutions.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain reports, dashboards, and data extracts.
• Automate processes and improve reporting efficiency.
• Evaluate reports and processes for standardization and accessibility.
• Create technical specs and documentation.
• Triages data requests and selects appropriate data sources and tools.
• Provide training on self-service reporting.
• Collaborate with IST and end users, bridging gaps.
• Work independently, manage multiple priorities, communicate clearly.
• Adhere to University Hospital compliance policies.
• Stay updated on regulations and policies.
