Job summary

University Hospital is seeking a self-directed IS professional to analyze, design, implement and support clinical information systems, with emphasis on Epic applications and hospital operations. You will develop testing strategies, maintain project plans, create training materials, and work with end users, vendors and IS&T departments to ensure compliant, reliable systems.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree, 3 years of health information systems experience, Epic certification within 6

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of information systems experience, preferably in a patient care environment.
• Effective written and oral communications are a must.
• Ability to maintain and assist in managing project work plans.
• Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provides analysis, design and support of hospital systems, including testing, training, implementation and on-going support.
• Documents, communicates and assists in problem determination and resolution.
• Updates and maintains detailed project plans.
• Interacts with end users, vendors and other related areas to gather requirements and compile data.
• Assists in the installation of software and/or hardware systems and ensures IS&T standards are met.
• Develops and maintains detailed documentation for training and build documents.
• Delivers effective training for user community and improves system usage.
• Plans resources and organizes project teams for successful implementation.
• Works with user community to deliver satisfactory project level service.
