Job summary

Hospice of the Piedmont is seeking an experienced Clinical Services Manager to lead our South Team (Nelson, Buckingham, Fluvanna, and southern Albemarle). You will blend clinical expertise with people development to deliver compassionate hospice care and guide an interdisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include overseeing patient care, staffing, training, compliance, budgeting, and ensuring high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Current Virginia RN license.
• Minimum of five years nursing experience.
• Hospice nursing and nursing management experience preferred.
• Driver’s license, personal automobile, and current automobile liability insurance.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the delivery of hospice services to ensure high-quality, patient- and family-centered care.
• Manages staffing, caseload distribution, scheduling, and service delivery.
• Leads interdisciplinary team meetings and provides ongoing guidance to IDT members.
• Hires, coaches, and develops staff in coordination with HR and leadership; oversees scheduling and payroll.
• Supports regulatory compliance including HIPAA, Conditions of Participation, accreditation, and documentation.
• Assists with budget preparation and monitors expenses to support responsible use of organizational resources.
