Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a leader to design, build, integrate, certify, troubleshoot, and operate the Vehicle Test Bed (VTB) for the Transfer Stage team, enabling avionics and flight software development with simulations and hardware emulators.

You will guide a team from concept through validation, coordinate with vehicle subsystem teams to define test needs, and work with test management on staffing, cost estimates, and schedule. Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum: B.S. degree in Engineering with spacecraft electrical systems knowledge.
• Experience building hardware-in-the-loop test labs and working in fast-paced environments.
• Strong written and oral communication and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, integrate, certify, troubleshoot, and operate the Vehicle Test Bed (VTB).
• Lead a team through all development phases and provide technical guidance.
• Define functional capabilities of the VTB and coordinate test requirements with subsystem teams.
