Jacobs is seeking a Highway Project Engineer based near Pittsburgh, PA. You will lead highway design and construction efforts, coordinate across teams, and act as the main Jacobs representative for clients and partners on transportation projects.

The role emphasizes collaboration with local staff and national/global teams, with a focus on delivering complex solutions and ensuring project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• Experience in transportation engineering with emphasis on highway design.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certification.
• Strong MicroStation/InRoads/ORD background.
• Strong communications, mathematical, analytical, and time management skills.
• Local to Pittsburgh, PA.

Responsibilities

• Lead engineer on multiple highway design and construction projects.
• Coordinate project development and delivery with local and national teams.
• Serve as a client-facing Jacobs representative and interface with clients and partners.
• Forecast progress and staff resources with project managers.
