Job summary

Qualifications

• Four (4) years minimum of proven/qualified industry experience with roadway maintenance or construction.
• Valid Class B CDL required; Class A preferred in some roles.
• MSD levels 1–4 completed as part of the qualification.
• Experience as a lead worker or supervisor is required.
• Experience with maintenance planning, safety procedures, and reporting.
• GAMS/AGILE Assets training and use experience.
• Flagger training and traffic control knowledge and practice.
• MSDS knowledge and safe handling practices.
• Experience operating and maintaining heavy/maintenance equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide crew on routine maintenance tasks on state routes.
• Coordinate, plan, and direct crew activities to complete tasks.
• Train lower-level staff in safety and maintenance procedures.
• Maintain positive public relations and handle emergencies as directed.
• Complete required monthly/semi-monthly documentation and reports.
• Operate equipment or act as operator when needed to assist operations.
