Job summary

GLC Business Services, Inc. seeks an experienced Superintendent to oversee high-rise construction projects in Buffalo, NY. You will lead daily field operations, coordinate subcontractors, manage schedules, enforce safety, and ensure on-time, on-budget completion with high-quality results.

The ideal candidate will be hands-on, with strong communication, safety focus, and experience delivering commercial or multi-family projects from start to finish. OSHA 30 is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• 3–5 years of construction supervisory experience or equivalent.
• Experience managing commercial, multi-family, or high-rise projects preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, and contracts.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily on-site construction activities to ensure safety, schedule and quality.
• Enforce safety policies and maintain an organized jobsite; hold subs accountable.
• Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and stakeholders for progress.
• Prepare and maintain project docs: daily reports, schedules, submittals, RFIs, as-builts.
• Drive schedules via critical path planning and look-ahead scheduling.
• Review scopes of work to ensure alignment with project requirements.
• Lead preconstruction and owner meetings; provide status updates.
