Job summary

SelectLeaders Client is seeking an experienced Site Superintendent to lead daily field operations on high-end interior construction projects in NYC. You will coordinate subcontractors, maintain safety, and ensure schedules and quality meet client expectations.

This in-person role requires strong leadership, on-site representation with clients and design professionals, and meticulous site management from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience supervising high-end construction projects in New York City.
• Experience with high-end interior construction; luxury residential, luxury retail, and/or high-end hospitality preferred.
• Comfortable representing the firm on site in front of clients, architects and designers with clear communication.
• Strong understanding of construction means and methods, sequencing, scheduling, and site logistics.
• Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and multiple trades.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
• Strong understanding of NYC construction practices and requirements.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• OSHA 30-Hour certification and NYC SST card preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations for high-end interior construction projects.
• Manage site logistics, sequencing, manpower, deliveries, and workflow.
• Establish priorities to maintain project momentum and monitor progress.
• Coordinate with Project Manager to align field activities with objectives.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and professional job site.
• Direct, coordinate, and manage subcontractors and trades.
• Review drawings, RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation.
• Utilize Procore to maintain daily logs and project records.
• Ensure quality standards per plans and specs.
