Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care seeks an RN charge nurse in Venice, FL to lead daily patient care operations in the dialysis unit. You will supervise direct care staff, participate in care planning, and ensure safe, compliant delivery of dialysis services in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The role requires nursing and dialysis experience, strong communication, and the ability to mentor staff while coordinating with the Clinical Manager. Travel between facilities may be required in this healthcare network.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 9 months of nursing experience and an additional 3 months of clinical experience in dialysis.
• Nursing leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day to day guidance and direction to direct patient care staff, including performance feedback and appropriate actions.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and regulations in clinics with 100+ patients.
• Coordinate nurse duties and staffing in collaboration with Clinical Manager.
• Participate in patient care plan meetings and staff education.
• Supervise safe use of dialysis equipment and adherence to protocols.
• Attend monthly Quality Assurance meetings and other duties as assigned.
