Job summary

Matrix Service Company seeks a Heavy Lift/Heavy Haul Construction Manager to oversee critical lifting operations on worksites, ensuring compliance with OSHA, site HSE, and manufacturer requirements. You will coordinate crane operators, riggers, and signal personnel to maintain safe, efficient lifts.

Responsibilities include developing lift plans, coordinating logistics for heavy haul components, supervising on-site crews, and ensuring crane areas are prepared and compliant with standards.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of lift supervision experience.
• In-depth knowledge of ASME B30 and OSHA regulations.
• Certifications in rigging and crane operation preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all critical lifting operations on worksites to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Coordinate with crane operators, riggers, and signal personnel for lifts.
• Develop lift plans addressing crane size, configuration and rigging requirements.
• Manage logistics and transportation studies for heavy haul components and modules.
• Ensure crane operations are integrated with other site activities and the area is prepared.
• Verify lifting equipment is in good condition and has adequate capacity for lifts.
• Ensure operators and riggers are trained and understand hazards and responsibilities.
• Provide training for rigging personnel and maintain safety discipline on site.
