Job summary

LPX Group in Louisville, KY seeks a Heavy Highway Project Manager to lead civil construction from inception through life cycle completion. You will manage scheduling, cost accounting, quality, contract administration, safety, and owner relations on DOT/highway projects.

Required are 3+ years of highway project PM experience, budgeting proficiency, and leadership skills. Primavera P6 experience is preferred; strong organizational and problem-solving abilities are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years PM experience on highway projects (DOT/heavy).
• Experience with budgeting and cost control.
• Proficiency with Primavera P6 preferred.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop master project schedule and communicate to subs, owners, and field personnel.
• Control costs and maintain profitability for the project.
• Ensure safety and regulatory procedures are followed.
• Coordinate with engineers, inspectors, and owner representatives.
• Oversee change orders and monitor field activity.
• Administer subcontractor work within project scope.
