Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Own a general mechanic’s tool set capable of supporting a heavy equipment fleet.

Responsibilities

• Develop consistent schedules for mechanics and yard technicians to perform maintenance on heavy equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot fuel, electrical, hydraulic, and propane systems.
• Operate equipment such as boom lifts, forklifts, compressors, generators, hydraulics, pumps, and related tools.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with customers.
• Audit and complete timesheets, checklists, records and maintenance logs on time.
• Manage and order parts for equipment and keep the workspace clean and organized.
