Job summary

S&B USA Construction in the Portsmouth, Virginia area is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator/Foreman to lead storm drainage and earthwork on major projects. You will safely operate dozers, excavators, and skid steers, supervise crews, and uphold safety, quality, and schedule on site.

Three years of field experience, a valid driver’s license, ability to pass a drug test, and willingness to work Saturdays required.

Qualifications

• Three years of field experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving history are required.
• Candidate must be able to pass a drug test.

Responsibilities

• Safely and skillfully operate equipment including dozers, excavators and skid steers.
• Maintain equipment in proper operating condition with basic preventative maintenance and repairs.
• Perform tasks safely and in an accident-free manner.
• Lead storm drainage pipe crews and install storm systems to project specs.
• Lead excavation and benching crews.
• Operate excavators and dozers to strip topsoil and bench fill material.
