Qualifications

• Operate excavators, loaders, backhoes, dozers and other heavy equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow site safety protocols at all times.
• Coordinate with crew members to ensure correct execution of tasks.
• Prepare construction sites for building, demolition, or excavation work.
• Report injuries or other accidents to the Foreman or Job Superintendent.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate excavators, loaders, backhoes, dozers and other heavy equipment.
• Excavate trenches for utility installation with precision.
• Assist crews with storm, water, and sewer pipe installation.
• Follow site safety protocols at all times.
• Communicate with coworkers to clarify project specifications.
