Job summary

Peak Landscape, Inc. in Seattle seeks a Lead Fleet Mechanic to oversee the maintenance and compliance of our fleet across the South Seattle branch. The role ensures safety, efficiency, and reliability of company vehicles and equipment.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of vehicle/diesel fleet experience, 2+ years in supervision, ASE certifications or equivalents, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus. We offer health, dental, vision insurance and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of proven experience as a vehicle, diesel, and/or fleet maintenance technician.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or shop management role.
• ASE certifications or similar credentials.
• Bilingual in English & Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the maintenance and repair of company vehicles, trailers, and small engine equipment.
• Oversee the general conditions of the shop and yard space, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and safety.
• Maintain accurate records of fleet inventory, repairs, maintenance schedules, and compliance.
• Coordinate with supervisors to minimize downtime of vehicles and equipment.
• Communicate priorities and timelines for repairs and maintenance to production teams.
• Ensure vehicles and equipment are safe, clean, and compliant with regulations.
• Troubleshoot fleet issues and collaborate with local vendors for parts and supplies.
