Job summary

Frey Consulting Group in Mount Pleasant, TX seeks an experienced Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain John Deere and related equipment. You will mentor trainees and ensure accurate documentation and timely completion of work orders.

Qualifications

• Experience performing service repairs; demonstrated experience meeting performance metrics.
• Experience performing repairs using tools and following Technical Manual procedures.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems in off-road, construction, lawn, or heavy equipment.
• Experience operating vehicles and diagnostic tools.
• Experience with basic computer functions; experience with Service ADVISOR or similar tools.
• Experience collaborating in a team.
• Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
• Adequate toolset to perform responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology.
• Mentor Service Technician Trainees and Technicians.
• Accountable for billable time and assigned work orders.
• Document diagnostics and repairs thoroughly and submit information on time.
• Participate in Service EDUCATE training when required.
• Operate and maintain vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and safety compliance.
• Keep current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
