Job summary

The position requires a High School Diploma or GED, five years' mechanic experience, a Florida Class B CDL with Air Brakes, and ASE/EVT and automotive manufacturer certifications, with a certified Natural Gas Inspector due

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED and five years' experience as automotive/diesel mechanic.
Valid Florida Class B CDL with Air Brakes required.
ASE Certification, EVT Certification, and Automotive Manufacturer certifications required.
Certified Natural Gas Inspector required within three months of employment.

Responsibilities

Performs training, scheduling, oversight, and journey-level mechanical work diagnosing problems.
Inspects, replaces, and repairs defective parts for the Fleet Management Division.
Acts as a lead, instructs and oversees lower-level mechanics.
Ensures quality control and safety procedures; assigns repairs by division priorities.
Work is supervised by the Technician Supervisor throughout progress and completion.
