Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; construction-related coursework desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of survey experience in a heavy civil construction environment.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Terramodel, Trimble Business Center and Trimble GPS experience a must.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and coordinates surveying activities for self and one direct report.
• Demonstrates experience in construction site/heavy civil layout.
• Manages crew and fulfills schedule obligations.
• Coordinates with pre-construction planning and project scheduling with owner representatives.
• Prioritizes tasks with project supervision and team members.
• Seeks opportunities to enhance the survey function with value-adding activities.
• Coordinates with Operations on equipment and labor needs.
