Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions seeks a Heavy Civil Project Manager in Virginia to lead highway, road, and bridge work from planning through closeout. This is a self-perform contractor with real project ownership and no red tape.

You’ll manage budget, schedule, risk, and subcontractor performance, report to senior leadership, and benefit from a strong backlogged pipeline, relocation support, and a competitive base plus bonus.

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years managing heavy/highway, road, or bridge civil construction projects.
• Track record running medium-to-large heavy civil projects as a PM.
• Strong DOT / VDOT, roadway, grading, drainage, paving, or utility background.
• OSHA 30 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead heavy highway, road, and bridge projects from planning through closeout.
• Own schedule, budget, cost control, forecasting, change orders, documentation, and closeout.
• Protect projected margins and report cost/income variances to leadership.
• Serve as the main project contact for owners, agencies, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Lead field supervision and project engineering teams; set roles and responsibilities.
• Identify project risks early and drive solutions.
