Job summary
Ashton North LLC is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Project Manager to lead highway, road, and bridge work in Virginia. You will oversee projects from planning through closeout, manage budgets, schedules, and scope, and coordinate with owners, agencies, subcontractors, and field teams.
The role offers real project ownership, a strong backlog, relocation support for the right candidate, and a competitive base with bonus potential.
Qualifications
- 5–10+ years managing heavy/highway, road, or bridge civil construction projects.
- Track record running medium-to-large heavy civil projects as a PM.
- Strong DOT/VDOT, roadway, grading, drainage, paving, or utility background.
- Strong cost control, schedule, contract, and change-order experience.
Responsibilities
- Lead heavy highway, road, and bridge projects from planning through closeout.
- Own schedule, budget, cost control, forecasting, change orders, documentation, and closeout.
- Protect projected margins with timely cost and income projections.
- Serve as the main project contact for owners, agencies, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Lead field supervision and project engineering teams; assign roles and responsibilities.
