Job summary

Ashton North LLC in Virginia is seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Project Manager to lead highway, road, and bridge projects from planning through closeout. You will own schedule, budget, cost control, forecasting, and project performance while coordinating with field leadership, owners, agencies, subcontractors, and vendors on self-performed work.

This role offers real authority, a funded backlog of infrastructure work, relocation support for the right candidate, and a competitive base plus

Qualifications

• 5–10+ years managing heavy/highway, road, or bridge civil construction projects.
• Track record running medium-to-large heavy civil projects as a PM.
• Strong DOT/VDOT, roadway, bridge, grading, drainage, paving, or utility background.
• Strong cost control, schedule, contract, and change-order experience.
• OSHA 30 preferred

Responsibilities

• Manage heavy highway, road, bridge projects from plan through closeout.
• Own schedule, budget, cost control, forecasting, and closeout.
• Lead field supervision and project engineering teams; coordinate with owners, agencies, subs, and vendors.
• Run weekly project meetings and report performance to leadership.
• Submit accurate payment requisitions and manage contract changes.
