Job summary

Alivi is seeking a Lead Software Engineer with deep healthcare payer domain expertise to join our CapAdmin platform team in Miami. This hybrid role blends senior engineering execution with SME leadership to ensure payer processes are translated into robust software architecture.

You will own architecture, guide requirements validation, and mentor engineers, while collaborating with Operations, Finance, and Compliance to validate claims, capitation, and COB workflows end-to-end.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in C#/.NET or Java for enterprise systems.
• Relational databases like SQL Server or PostgreSQL and data modeling.
• Experience with REST APIs, microservices, and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with AWS stack (Redshift, QuickSight) is a plus.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum, CI/CD, and modern DevOps practices.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus for Miami team.

Responsibilities

• Bridge engineering execution with payer business knowledge to ensure domain accuracy.
• Lead code reviews with a domain lens and mentor engineers.
• Own architecture, scalability, and platform modernization in CapAdmin.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, and Compliance to validate logic.
• Support customer-facing technical conversations with payer clients.
