The role provides technical leadership to a maintenance team in a healthcare environment, managing preventive maintenance, CMMS work orders, and critical building systems to ensure a safe, compliant facility.

The position requires 7+ years in facility maintenance, healthcare system knowledge, and strong leadership.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of facility maintenance experience, preferably in healthcare or regulated environments.
• Extensive knowledge of hospital systems, including mechanical and electrical subsystems.
• Clean driving record and willingness to travel to off-site locations as needed.
• Experience leading maintenance teams or supervising technical staff.
• Proficiency in CMMS software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Facility maintenance and repair of hospital equipment and infrastructure, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, medical gas, and emergency power.
• Lead day-to-day maintenance operations; train and support junior technicians; uphold safety standards.
• Design, implement and oversee preventive maintenance programs with regulatory compliance.
• Maintain safe working environment by following OSHA, NFPA, Joint Commission standards; participate in safety audits.
• Use CMMS to manage work orders, schedules, asset tracking, and inventory control.
• Diagnose and resolve complex building system issues to minimize downtime.
• Document inspections and repairs; assist regulatory reporting and audits.
• Identify energy efficiency opportunities and process improvements; support project coordination with contractors.
