UCI Health is seeking a Lead Custodian to support the EVS Manager in maintaining high standards across assigned areas within a hospital environment. You will lead, train, and motivate environmental services staff, prioritize daily work, and manage supply levels to ensure timely completion of tasks.

This role requires healthcare custodial experience, flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and strong customer service skills in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service orientation and customer service skills appropriate for the position level.
• Ability to work in various locations, as well as rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays as needed.
• The ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Demonstrated advanced level custodial experience working in healthcare environment, with an understanding of necessary supplies and equipment.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships within the work unit and across the Health System

Responsabilités

• Lead, train and motivate environmental services staff.
• Assist EVS Manager by informing on the condition of assigned areas.
• Prioritize daily work activities, ensure appropriate supply levels, and monitor staff performance.
• Assist with monitoring and training staff on Closet Tip lists.
• Perform related housekeeping duties as assigned.
