Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a Senior Custodian to join the EVS team. The role involves skilled cleaning, housekeeping, and general maintenance across acute and non-acute areas, with attention to safety and efficient use of supplies.

You will perform tile and carpet care, operate stripping, waxing, extraction/shampooing, and support rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. A valid CA driver's license and excellent customer service are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CA driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Experience in a service industry and interacting with customers.
• Ability to read, write and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
• Provide evidence of liability insurance coverage upon request.
• Employment is contingent upon satisfactory background check and DMV record.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled and semi-skilled cleaning, housekeeping and general maintenance in acute and non-acute areas.
• Operates resilient tile and carpet care tasks (stripping, waxing, extraction/shampooing).
• Work in multiple locations with rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
