Job summary

Optimum Communications Inc. is seeking a Lead Headend Engineer to oversee Telecommunications Network Management/Inside Plant operations. You will lead a team, ensure reliable service, and drive continuous improvement while coordinating with other groups for new product launches.

The role requires strong ISP design knowledge, FCC/regulatory familiarity, and proven leadership. A college or technical degree is preferred, with flexibility for varied hours and standby as needed.

Qualifications

Strong knowledge of Inside Plant design and operation and ISP Tech III duties.
Familiarity with local/state/FCC performance testing and regulations.
Understanding of industry standards and reliability improvements.
Proven leadership abilities and team management experience.

Responsibilities

Support daily operations and project requests from the Area Manager.
Assist implementation and integration of newer technology.
Manage Inside Plant operations to meet reliability specs and budget.
Lead and coach team, drive accountability and customer focus.
Conduct performance reviews and development plans for staff.
Coordinate with other groups to resolve technical issues and support product launches.
