Job summary

RTX is seeking an on-site engineer in Fort Wayne, Indiana for hardware design in the Multi-Product Power & Digital department. The role focuses on FPGA, VHDL, and mixed-signal electronics in defense-related projects, with responsibilities spanning circuit design, testing, and documentation.

The ideal candidate has a STEM degree and hands-on experience with VHDL/Verilog, FPGA, and lab instrumentation. A DoD Secret clearance requirement applies, along with US citizenship and ability to obtain

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM field.
• Experience with analog, digital, mixed-signal electronics, circuit design or analysis, power electronics, VHDL, FPGA, DSP or PCB design.
• 3.0 GPA desired from ABET-accredited institution.
• Lab experience with hardware/software integration, test automation scripting, test conduction, sensor control.

Responsibilities

• Designing digital, power, and analog circuits.

• Operating and automating test equipment in a lab environment.
