Lockheed Martin in New York, NY is seeking a Lead Hardware Engineer Staff to lead teams of engineers and technicians on automated test equipment programs. You will create Basis of Estimates, serve as CAM, ensure milestones are met, and mentor staff across hardware engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other Engineering related discipline.
• Experience with electrical design and troubleshooting.
• Experience working with 3D models and high level of proficiency in electrical schematic interpretation.
• Knowledgeable in Hardware Engineering processes and tools such as CREO or similar tools.
• Proficient in Windchill/EPDM.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams of multi-disciplined engineers and technicians.
• Be responsible for creating accurate Basis of Estimates.
• Serve as CAM to the programs that you are assigned.
• Ensure that project milestones and commitments are met.
• Interface with and mentor Test Equipment Hardware engineers and other Integrated Product Teammates.
• Execute a strategy to implement a common test equipment platform for AMS programs.
• Develop and integrate hardware systems/subsystems.
