Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Bethesda is seeking a technical lead Hardware Engineer to design, test, and maintain COTS and custom computing hardware for large RF communication systems. The role requires coordinating project docs, vendor evaluations, and performance reporting.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of hardware engineering with BS, TS/SCI clearance, and willingness to relocate on-site for an OCONUS assignment. Expect 24x7 operations and cross-contractor teamwork.

Qualifications

• BS degree and 3+ years of hardware engineering experience.
• Current TS/SCI Security Clearance with CI Polygraph.
• Ability to travel to an overseas site.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical leadership for hardware/firmware tasks.
• Discrepancy report generation and resolution tracking.
• On-site O&M support and fault isolation across RF systems.
• Lead or participate in contractor and customer meetings.
• Develop troubleshooting and recovery plans with teams.
