Job summary

Actalent is seeking a Lead Hardware Engineer in Pittsburgh to design, develop, and troubleshoot complex hardware systems. You will lead a team of engineers, develop system-level architectures, and drive design reviews and integrations throughout the product lifecycle.

The role emphasizes hands-on PCB debugging, cross-functional collaboration, and delivering high-quality hardware solutions in a hybrid work environment two days in the office and three remote per week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• 5+ years of Electrical/Hardware Engineering experience with hardware debugging
• Proven leadership or mentoring experience within hardware teams
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics and design documentation

Responsibilities

• Lead design and debugging of hardware systems from concept to production.
• Mentor a team of hardware engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Review schematics and documentation for quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate hardware solutions.
• Support testing, validation, and design reviews throughout the lifecycle.
