Job summary

Voyager Lunar Systems is seeking an Electrical Hardware Engineer - Avionics in Pittsburgh. You will design PCBs for spacecraft avionics, run trade studies on components, and develop thorough test procedures for board- and system-level verification.

The role involves programming embedded systems, FPGAs, MCUs, and supports environmental and qualification testing, reporting progress to the Avionics Lead and contributing to hardware-in-the-loop workflows.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• 2+ years of experience in electronics hardware development.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB design.

Responsibilities

• Design PCBs for spacecraft avionics systems across primary and secondary boards.
• Perform trade studies on electronic components and select best options for engineering and flight avionics.
• Develop test procedures for component, board-level and system-level integrated testing.
• Test fabricated PCBs or integrated avionics systems.
