Job summary

Senior Hardware Integration Engineer position in Cranberry Township, PA (Pittsburgh Area) is 100% onsite. You will join a collaborative team to design and integrate complex hardware for government and critical infrastructure projects nationwide.

The role blends electrical design, AutoCAD, industrial controls, and hardware integration while coordinating with customers, vendors, and internal engineering teams. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of engineering experience.
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical fundamentals and low‑voltage systems.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain engineering drawings using AutoCAD.
• Develop electrical and mechanical system layouts.
• Design industrial control panels including low‑voltage power supplies, terminal blocks, and network switches.
• Create and manage project design documentation from concept through as‑built drawings.
• Support system staging, testing, troubleshooting, and FAT.
• Oversee technicians during panel assembly and system integration activities.
• Coordinate with fabrication vendors and inspect completed panel builds.
• Travel periodically to customer sites for surveys, inspections, installation support, and testing.
