Oxford Solutions is hiring a Senior Hardware Engineer for a 6‑month onsite contract in Pittsburgh, PA. This position offers the opportunity to take a lead role in designing and developing high‑performance, long‑life hardware systems that meet demanding industry standards.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complete hardware solutions from concept through production.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional engineering teams to ensure design consistency, interoperability, and reliability.
• Apply design‑for‑obsolescence practices and support all phases of the product lifecycle, including testing and troubleshooting.
• Ensure products meet EMI/EMC compliance and other relevant industry or government standards.
• Provide technical input for product roadmap planning and hardware development methodologies.

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in hardware engineering, including end‑to‑end product design.
• Proficiency with microprocessors, microcontrollers, and FPGA development (Altera and Xilinx).
• Experience with EMI/EMC design and compliance standards.
• Strong analytical, documentation, and collaboration skills.
