Responsibilities

• Serve as the technical lead for the Guidewire CLPC platform, providing guidance for complex business and technology solutions.
• Lead solution design, technical reviews, and engineering decision-making to ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable architectures.
• Partner with architects, product teams, engineering leaders, and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business goals.
• Drive platform reliability, resiliency, performance, maintainability, and ops excellence.
• Lead root cause analysis and remedial actions for production issues and long-term improvements.
• Identify and reduce technical debt to improve platform health and supportability.
• Establish and promote engineering standards and quality expectations across the platform.
• Provide mentoring and coaching to engineers through reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Evaluate emerging tech including automation and AI-assisted development to boost effectiveness.
• Lead modernization initiatives for scalability, resiliency, automation, and sustainability.
