Job Description
The incumbent is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external customers. This role involves maintaining an efficient Hotel Front Office team under the guidance of the Assistant Front Desk Managers. Responsibilities include training, assisting, and directing Front Desk Agents, Night Auditors, PBX Agents, Bell Attendants, Valet Attendants, and Ogle Haus staff to ensure accurate, courteous room registration and check-out processes. The incumbent also welcomes guests and provides service, offering leadership and work direction to department team members, including organizing work, prioritizing tasks, enforcing policies, and training staff. Lead Persons do not perform managerial tasks such as hiring or performance reviews but may provide input to management.
Qualifications
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to obtain and maintain required licenses/certifications according to Federal, State, and Gaming regulations
- Successful passing of background checks and drug screening
- Must be 21 years of age
The necessary skills are typically acquired through a high school education or equivalent, plus two months of on-the-job training or related experience.
