The incumbent in this position is responsible for providing superior service to both internal and external customers. This role involves maintaining an efficient Hotel Front Office work group under the guidance of the Assistant Front Desk Managers. Responsibilities include training, assisting, and directing Front Desk Agents, Night Auditors, PBX Agents, Bell Attendants, Valet Attendants, and Ogle Haus staff to ensure accurate, courteous room registration and check-out processes. The incumbent also welcomes guests and provides excellent service. Leadership duties include:
Lead Persons do not perform managerial tasks such as performance reviews, hiring, or terminations but may provide input to management regarding these processes.
Typically, these skills are acquired through a high school education or equivalent, plus two months of on-the-job training or related experience.
