Job summary

Learning Care is seeking a Lead GSRP Teacher to plan and deliver daily lessons using the approved curriculum. You will observe and assess four-year-olds, collaborate with classroom teams, and develop IDPs while engaging families for ongoing communications.

You will ensure compliance with GSRP standards and participate in professional development, with a focus on high-quality instruction and a supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or valid teaching certificate with ZA/ZS endorsement.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Meet state education requirements and childcare center standards.
• Ability to engage indoors or outdoors with children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily lessons using the approved GSRP curriculum.
• Conduct child observations and assessments using approved tools.
• Collaborate with the associate teacher and classroom team for high-quality instruction.
• Develop Individual Development Plans (IDPs) and lead parent conferences.
• Ensure compliance with GSRP standards, licensing rules, and program quality.
• Participate in required professional development and coaching.
• Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and community partners.
