Job summary

Learning Care Group in Michigan seeks a Lead GSRP Teacher to plan and implement daily lessons for four‑year‑olds under the Great Start Readiness Program, aligned with state standards and GSRP guidelines.

You will observe and assess children, develop IDPs, and collaborate with the classroom team to ensure high‑quality instruction and effective classroom management. Engage families and participate in ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or valid teaching certificate with ZA/ZS endorsement.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state education requirements and childcare center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily lessons using the approved GSRP curriculum.
• Conduct child observations and assessments using approved tools.
• Collaborate with the associate teacher and classroom team to ensure high‑quality instruction and classroom management.
• Develop Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for each child and lead parent‑teacher conferences.
• Ensure compliance with GSRP standards, licensing rules, and program quality expectations.
• Participate in required professional development and coaching.
• Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and community partners.
