Job summary

Learning Care Group is seeking compassionate Lead GSRP Teachers in Michigan to plan, assess, and deliver age-appropriate instruction for 4-year-olds in our Great Start Readiness Program classrooms. You will collaborate with associate teachers, develop IDPs, conduct observations, and ensure compliance with GSRP standards while engaging families and the broader community to support student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or valid teaching certificate with ZA/ZS endorsement.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• The ability to meet state requirements for education and our childcare center requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily lessons using the approved GSRP curriculum
• Conduct child observations and assessments using approved tools
• Collaborate with the associate teacher and classroom team to ensure high-quality instruction and classroom management
• Develop Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for each child and lead parent-teacher conferences
• Ensure compliance with GSRP standards, licensing rules, and program quality expectations
• Participate in required professional development and coaching
• Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and community partners
