Job summary

Learning Care is seeking a Lead GSRP Teacher in Michigan to plan and implement daily lessons using the approved GSRP curriculum for 4-year-olds. You will conduct observations, collaborate with the classroom team, and develop IDPs while leading parent conferences.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with GSRP standards, participating in professional development, and communicating with families and partners to support high-quality instruction.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education, or valid teaching certificate with ZA/ZS endorsement.
• Experience leading a classroom and creating educational lesson plans.
• Ability to meet state requirements for education and center requirements.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement daily lessons using the approved GSRP curriculum.
• Conduct child observations and assessments using approved tools.
• Collaborate with the associate teacher and classroom team to ensure high-quality instruction and classroom management.
• Develop Individual Development Plans (IDPs) for each child and lead parent-teacher conferences.
• Ensure compliance with GSRP standards, licensing rules, and program quality expectations.
• Participate in required professional development and coaching.
• Communicate effectively with families, colleagues, and community partners.
