Overall Purpose
Under the supervision of the Director of Facilities, the Lead Grounds Keeper is responsible for the care and maintenance of all facility grounds. This role requires proficiency in using landscaping and grounds equipment, as well as yard tools. The Lead Grounds Keeper supervises the groundskeeping team, ensuring that all tasks are completed on time and according to instructions.
Essential Functions
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Certificate preferred.
Valid Georgia driver's license.
Physical Requirements
Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force as needed to move objects.
Education/Training
General knowledge of landscaping methods and plant types.
Minimum of 2 years of management experience.
At least 3 years of experience in grounds work.
