Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a skilled Welder/Pipefitter to join the Stennis-based production team in Mississippi. You will perform welding and assembly tasks on large-scale test stands, read engineering drawings, and contribute to safe, efficient operations.

The role requires lifting 50 lbs, potential night shifts, weekends, and travel. You will work with TIG and MIG processes, participate in training, and help shape practical manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as welder or pipefitter.
• Lift 50 lbs unassisted and stand for extended periods.
• Able to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience with TIG and MIG welding processes.
• Able to perform part layout and fit-up.
• May require night shifts, weekends, and travel.

Responsibilities

• Perform work per procedures, specs and work instructions while meeting team expectations.
• Set daily/weekly priorities to achieve company goals, ensure safety and quality standards.
• Collaborate with engineering/leadership to implement process improvements.
• Develop and deliver technical training and provide coaching/mentorship.
• Ensure maintenance and service of test stand equipment is safe and timely.
• Track and order tooling and justify purchases based on ROI.
