Job summary
Relativity Space is seeking a Welder on the Launch Team to fabricate, fit, and weld piping systems supporting the Terran R launch site. You will collaborate with engineering, fabrication, construction, and operations to install piping safely and to specification.
The role requires 3+ years of welding and fabrication, proficiency in TIG/MIG/FCAW/stick, and the ability to read isometrics and blueprints. On-site work at Cape Canaveral, FL with a competitive package.
Qualifications
- 3+ years welding and fabrication in industrial settings.
- Experience with TIG, MIG, FCAW, and stick welding.
- Able to read isometrics, blueprints, weld procedures and symbols.
- Fit, fabricate, and install piping systems per drawings and specs.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specs.
- Weld piping systems and mechanical assemblies using multiple processes.
- Prepare, align and install piping to meet weld quality requirements.
- Operate grinders, drills, saws, and pipe prep tools.
- Support site installation and field integration with teams.
