Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a Design Manager to supervise design concepts and lead cross-functional projects at the New Bremen, OH site. You will ensure branding consistency, mentor designers, and manage workloads to meet deadlines and budgets.

The role requires strong graphic design skills, leadership, and experience with enterprise design and project management tools. On-site collaboration with Marketing and Creative Services is essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in graphic design/visual communications/marketing or 5+ years related experience.
• Alternative: 6+ years related experience with high school diploma or GED.
• Occasional travel up to 5%.

Responsibilities

• Supervise design concepts/layouts for projects from queue and leadership.
• Use project management software to assign, manage, monitor, and report on projects for Graphic Designers.
• Provide hands-on creative supervision and review to ensure branding guidelines are followed.
• Ensure employees are trained and develop skills for backup support.
• Evaluate workload and assign work to meet deadlines and budgets.
• Collaborate with department managers to prioritize projects and ensure timely completion.
• Lead and supervise creation and ongoing management of processes to support project delivery.
• Drive process improvements with managers.
