Crown Equipment Corporation in New Bremen, OH is seeking an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer (Product Development) to shape manufacturing strategies early in the product lifecycle and drive cost targets with global plant collaboration.

Responsibilities include leading manufacturing aspects from conception to production launch, coordinating reviews, mentoring team members, and presenting progress to executives at milestone meetings.

Qualifications

• 8-15 years related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related.
• Non-degree considered if 12+ years of related experience along with a high school diploma or GED.
• Occasional/Frequent travel (0-20%).
• Occasional/Frequent overnight stays (0-20%).

Responsibilities

• Work with project teams to create manufacturing strategies aligning with Design for Manufacturing and Assembly.
• Assist in defining cost targets and ensure alignment with project cost goals.
• Maintain spending, tooling, and equipment requirements to support projects.
• Coordinate design reviews and procurement of development level components with plants globally.
• Act as project manager for manufacturing portion from conception through production launch.
• Present project updates to executives at Milestone meetings.
• Collaborate with Current Product teams for early engagement and knowledge sharing.
• Work with Process Technology to leverage emerging technologies with project teams.
• Develop and mentor others while providing technical direction and leadership.
• Report to the Advanced Manufacturing Engineering Manager.
