Job summary

Anoka County's Community Social Services and Behavioral Health invites applications for Lead Program Planner- Social Services, a full-time exempt hybrid role. You will drive grant development, contract management, and program planning to align with county policies, supporting individuals and families in Anoka County.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor's degree in behavioral science, human services, or a closely related field.
• Six years of job-related experience with Social Services related programming and leading housing programs.
• In lieu of the required education, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
• Successfully pass driver's license background check and have a vehicle available for business use.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments to identify opportunities for program development.
• Develop Requests for Proposals (RFPs) according to county and departmental policies.
• Develop, negotiate, and manage contracts that align with Anoka County policy and rules and regulations.
• Evaluate contracts for renewal or expansion and conduct contract audits.
• Prepare contract outcome reports for the department as directed by leadership.
• Monitor grant-making organizations for potential funding opportunities that support department goals.

Education

Bachelor's degree in behavioral science, human services, or a closely related field

Master's degree or higher in behavioral science, human services, or a closely related field
