Job summary

Anoka County is seeking a Senior Program Specialist to build and maintain strategic partnerships, lead coordination for complex grants, and ensure program outcomes and compliance. You will oversee research, submissions, and community outreach while guiding staff and partners to success.

The role emphasizes collaboration across local and state entities, data-driven improvement, and pursuing advancement opportunities within the county. A hybrid schedule with in-person and remote work is available.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree and at least 4 years (2,080 annual hours) of job-related experience.
• In lieu of the required education, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.
• Successfully pass driver’s license background check.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain strategic partnerships with local, regional and state entities and community partners.
• Develop, implement and lead service coordination plans for complex grant programs and projects.
• Determine goals and activities for assigned program and monitor progress toward outcomes.
• Prepare reports, maintain records, and track compliance requirements.
• Research funding opportunities at local, state, federal and foundation levels and review RFPs.
