The candidate should have 3+ years as a foreperson in heavy construction, with a preferred CDL and knowledge of heavy equipment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience as a Foreperson in heavy construction preferred.
• CDL is preferred.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment operation and safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervises grading crew and reports to Superintendent.
• Plan and organize day-to-day grading/pipe/construction crews.
• Instruct and monitor crew in equipment use and procedures.
• Direct grading, milling, and trucking to ensure efficiency.
• Coordinate with project team to implement plans and schedules.
• Estimate time and resources for projects.
• Maintain records of equipment, materials and labor hours.
• Ensure equipment and tools are cleaned and maintained.
